Fear of losing hair

I am only 19 and though I have no problems with my hair, I am still afraid if the day when I start losing it.



Are there any ways of preventing hair loss? What are the most beneficial shampoos to use? Are there any specific methods?



I also learned that baldness is a result of genes that one inherits, so therefore, as my father starting getting bald at 25, will I also start losing hair by that age?

If you do not see any thinning yet you may not have inherited any bald genes. Even if your father started going bald at 25 does not mean that you inherited his bald genes. You may have escaped getting them and may not ever go bald. If you see that you start to go bald then you can start taking Propecia to stop the process. There are no shampoos that will stop the baldness if you inherited the genes. There are many shampoos and lotions which claim to be able to stop baldness. They can not.
